Larnaca Marina is the first marina in Cyprus. For several years the marina was a small dock that served mainly fishing boats. In 1973, it was upgraded and declared a marina by the Republic of Cyprus.
The existing marina has a capacity of 350 boats and provides the basic infrastructure of a marina. Larnaca Marina in its current form is in the heart of the city, next to the Port and just 6 km from Larnaca International Airport “Glafcos Clerides” which makes it undoubtedly a unique attraction for locals and foreigners.
The new Larnaca Marina will include the development of its sea area and will have a capacity of 600 berths for yachts up to 130 meters in size. The project will include the creation of a refuelling station for yachts in the windless breakwater. The project will include the creation of a refuelling station for yachts in the windbreaker. But also, construction of a dock and several electricity substations to serve the new berths.
